Effect

Vitamin D3 is mainly found in animal products – such as fatty fish, eggs, meat, or milk.

Unlike most vitamins, vitamin D can be produced by the body itself – provided we get enough sunlight. For this reason, it is sometimes considered more a precursor of a hormone than a classic vitamin.
