Dried beef lung is freeze-dried lung tissue from cattle, processed into powder and filled into capsules. In our product, it comes 100% from organic pasture-raised cattle and is combined with a portion of organic liver (80% lung / 20% liver). The result is a concentrated organ-based spectrum that provides several micronutrients in their natural, animal-based matrix. Not as a synthetic single isolate, but in the form the body knows from real food.
Why lung and liver?
The combination is intentional. The lung provides highly bioavailable heme iron and high-quality protein with a low fat content. The liver complements the profile with high levels of vitamin A and copper, as well as vitamin B12 and other B vitamins. Together, the two organs cover a range of nutrients that are often lacking in the modern diet—and that complement each other in a meaningful way.
Vitamin B12: the energy and nervous system nutrient
With a high content of natural vitamin B12, this product is primarily a B12 powerhouse. Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy metabolism, normal functioning of the nervous system, normal formation of red blood cells, and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Animal organs such as lung and liver are among the most natural and readily available sources of B12. One reason why they held such an important place in traditional diets.
Vitamin A & Copper: immune system, skin and cell protection
The organic liver adds a high level of vitamin A. Vitamin A contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the maintenance of normal skin, and the maintenance of normal vision. Copper complements the profile: It contributes to normal energy metabolism, normal functioning of the nervous system, and normal iron transport in the body—a useful combination with the heme iron it contains. In addition, copper contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Natural heme iron: the readily available form
The iron in beef lung and liver is present as heme iron, the animal form of iron that the body can absorb significantly better than plant-based non-heme iron. Iron contributes to normal oxygen transport in the body, normal formation of red blood cells, and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. The copper it contains additionally supports normal iron transport. Two nutrients that naturally work together.
Quality, purity & processing
The organic pasture-raised cattle graze on natural meadows, which means their meat and organs are free from harmful residues. After slaughter, the lung and liver are immediately freeze-dried to protect heat-sensitive nutrients. The resulting powder is filled into the capsules without any additives: no anti-caking agents, no colorants, no fillers. Whole organs, as pure as possible.
